Detailed Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Srinagar (2 PM)
  • Arrival at Srinagar, local sightseeing of Hazratbal Shrine, Shalimar Bagh, Shankaracharya Temple & Dal Lake Shikara Ride. Explore handicraft markets.
  • Overnight stay in Srinagar.
Day 2: Srinagar – Sonmarg – Zoji La – Drass – Kargil
  • Scenic drive via Sonmarg & Zoji La Pass. Pay tribute at Kargil War Memorial.
  • Overnight stay in Kargil.
Day 3: Kargil – Lamayuru – Leh
  • Visit Lamayuru Monastery, Mulbekh, Magnetic Hill, Pathar Sahib Gurudwara, Sangam at Nimmu.
  • Overnight stay in Leh.
Day 4: Leh Sightseeing & Acclimatization
  • Explore Leh Palace, Shanti Stupa, Jama Masjid, local markets. Rest for high altitude acclimatization.
  • Overnight in Leh.
Day 5: Leh – Khardung La – Nubra Valley (Diskit & Hunder)
  • Cross Khardung La Pass, explore Diskit Monastery & Hunder sand dunes.

Day 6: Nubra – Sumur – Panamik – Turtuk – Nubra
  • Visit Sumur Monastery, Panamik hot springs & Turtuk Village (last Indian village).

Day 7: Nubra – Shyok Valley – Pangong Lake
  • Scenic drive through Shyok Valley to Pangong Tso. Enjoy camping with bonfire.
  • Overnight at Pangong Camps.
Day 8: Pangong – Hanle (via Chushul & Nyoma)
  • Drive through Chushul to reach Hanle village. Visit world’s highest observatory.
  • Overnight at Hanle.
Day 9: Hanle – Umling La Pass – Tso Moriri
  • Conquer Umling La (19,300 ft) – World’s Highest Road. Proceed to Tso Moriri Lake.
  • Overnight at Karzok Village / Tso Moriri.
Day 10: Tso Moriri – Tso Kar – Moore Plains – Sarchu/Pang
  • Drive via Tso Kar salt lake & vast Moore Plains.
  • Overnight stay at Sarchu/Pang.
Day 11: Sarchu – Baralacha La – Keylong – Rohtang La – Manali
  • Cross Baralacha La, Suraj Tal, Deepak Tal & Rohtang La.
  • Overnight in Manali.
Day 12: Buffer/Extra Day
